Children’s Ministry

Preschool (Newborn – 4 Years old)

The goal of the preschool ministry at North Acres is to help parents lay a firm foundation so their children will, when they become older, come to know Jesus as their personal savior. We provide structured teaching during all worship services for newborns – 4 years old.

We do this by:
Providing a safe environment for your children
Treating every child like one of our own
Using a variety of activities like blocks, art, home living, manipulates, books, and nature to make learning about God fun.

Kidz Church (K-6th grade)

Kidz Church gives children the opportunity to learn more about God, His Word, and how He makes a difference in the way we live our lives. Children also learn that salvation comes through faith in Christ alone! This all takes place each Sunday morning during our regular worship time, with the exception of one Sunday each month when we all worship together in “big” church for what we call Family Worship Sunday.

In Kidz Church we emulate many things that are done in “big” church.

We do this through:
Worship
Taking up offering
Looking up and memorizing scripture
Listening to the message
Fellowshipping with each other

In addition to the “norms”, we also
Play games
Play outside
Craft time
Laugh
Encourage the students

KFC – Kids for Christ
(PreK 4 – 6th grade)

At KFC we seek to provide a solid foundation of Biblical truths and application at a developmentally appropriate level. These groups study God’s Word, helping them to grow to become more mature in Christ. Also, KFC provides a small meal for the children.

The mission of North Acres is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our Savior, Jesus Christ by making true disciples who reach others with the grace of Jesus.
